A Little Bit About Us

 

Mother-Daughter team, Maria Victoria is the creative director of the brand & Yamileth takes care of the overall logistics. Together they collaborate in other aspects of their company, marketing, event planning, content creation, and even doing campaign shoots

Since childhood she did modeling, demonstrating that she would become a faithful follower of fashion. Loved playing dress-up she could spend hours making outfits. She also really enjoyed going to the fabric store as her mother is an expert sewer. Sharing her passion for fashion, art and, design with her.

From a very young age she has experienced traveling to several countries with her family to learn more about each culture, language, cuisine, and so much more. With each place that she traveled to, her creativity grew more each time. She knew she would want to explode that creativity at some point and apply it in garments.

In 2015 that she moves to South Florida where and she began fashion design studies at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and later at Miami International University of Art & Design. Where she then graduated on December 2019, in the midst of COVID-19 Pandemic.

After completing these studies, she decides to start a master's degree in business administration, to help her understand more about how to successfully run a small business, while at the same time, beginning to create her own brand, Victoria Leon.

In 2021 she begins her first steps to create her swimwear line along-side her mother Yamileth Leon, trying to show the world in each design the importance of feeling comfortable, elegant, and confident. Details that carry beauty and sophisticated styles that will make you fall in love.  

They're Venezuelan by birth, Yamileth born in Puerto Ordaz, Bolivar & Maria born in Maracaibo, Zulia. The main manufacturing and fabrication of the products comes from Medellin, Colombian. The brand is registered and is based in South Florida.
